Where do I see the ingredients of a product?

The full ingredients of each product, you can find on the product page under the item "Ingredients". The ingredients used are listed by weight in decreasing order. First, the main ingredients are listed, at the end are the ingredients that are only contained in small quantities. The ingredients listed at the end of the list are in most cases used for the shelf life or texture of the respective product. The ingredients are listed according to the international nomenclature of cosmetic ingredients, INCI for short.

Codecheck, what's behind it?

With the Code Check app, cosmetic products can be "checked" for their ingredients using a smartphone. The app filters the ingredients only rudimentarily and divides them into harmless, questionable, and very questionable substances. The quantities contained are not weighted in any way, but only the presence of the ingredient as such. The sources of the app are not always clear or partly outdated. Products can also be entered "by themselves" and then approved for review by "Code Check experts". How this review takes place and is justified, as well as which experts are involved, is not known. We do not consider this evaluation method to be scientifically correct.
