When was the last time you had a conscious conversation with your best friend? One where you put down the smartphone and focused entirely on what a friendship can give you. One where you had to hold your bellies gasping for air and rolling with laughter. We can learn a lot from those around us if we listen to them, and they can give us so much joy. From our grandmothers, whose life experience far exceeds ours, from our mothers, who know us inside out, and last but not least from our friends, who are always there for us when we need them.
