True to our credo - "Nothing in the world is as powerful as an idea whose time has come." [Victor Hugo] - the end of 2016 should end with a very special journey and many fascinating insights into a true wonder of nature for us. At the same time, it was also the birth of a unique cosmetic that is on the trail of the secret of ageless beauty.
How it all began ...
In December 2016, the unusual success story of "GINZAI" began with our stay in the remote mountain forests of South Korea in Jeonju Province. At the invitation of a long-time business friend, we were granted the opportunity to get to know the national treasure of the country, the rare Korean forest ginseng "Panax Ginseng", up close. We were allowed to discover this unique plant together with its root in its original environment and to dig it out carefully by hand. But not only that, we learned a lot about the 5,000-year-old history of the plant, its special effects that made it the most important medicinal plant in the world and its value, which in the past was already weighed out with gold.
Korean premium forest ginseng, the queen of adaptogens
The undoubtedly best ginseng in the world is the Korean forest ginseng. This grows in the highest quality of ingredients only in the remote mountain forests of South Korea under the special conditions there - 100% natural - without human interference. It takes seven long years until the growth cycle is completely finished. During this time, the purest power of nature, as it has for thousands of years, grows to completion in peace and quiet. Ginseng has an adaptogenic effect. This special property of ginseng allows a broad-spectrum effect on the skin, hair and organism.
Studies prove the effectiveness
We learned from one of South Korea's most renowned ginseng experts, Mr. Kim, about the almost inexhaustible possibilities of this miracle root. In the past millennia, forest ginseng came to immeasurable fame through its valuable services to man - especially in the field of medicine and beauty care. For example, ginseng is able to reduce stress, strengthen the immune system, have healing effects, rejuvenate the skin, make the complexion more even and conjure up a unique glow on the face.
A large number of studies also prove the special effectiveness of the globally unique nutrient diversity of forest ginseng. In the more than 250 (!) so far known ingredients are alone 40 ginsenosides, valuable vitamins, calcium, magnesium, etc.. These are also what make GINZAI so special....
GINZAI "The Beauty Innovation" - Created in Germany
This was the special moment when the GINZAI idea was born. The idea to develop a cosmetic based on the Korean forest ginseng that would enable the achievement of a new dimension of effect in skin and hair care. We immediately threw ourselves into the work to learn as much as possible about this special plant and its possibilities in cosmetics. But we also spent the next few weeks getting a detailed picture of the Korean cosmetics market in Europe and the rest of the world. In doing so, we discovered that there were no Made in South Korea products available for purchase in Europe that were tailored to the skin and hair needs of European customers. All commercially available products were 1:1 those offered and sold on the Korean cosmetics market. The problem is that the skin, the care routines and the beauty perception of Korean women have completely different needs than those of our European customers.
Only the best is good enough
It is one thing to have access to the precious Korean Forest Ginseng but it is another to make it so bioavailable that it can have maximum effect for skin and hair care.
To make this miracle of nature even more valuable for our cosmetic products, we use a patented process consisting of nine times steaming and an electroless drying. This process produces black forest ginseng with its highly potent nutrient density and optimal bioavailability. Through this complex process, the effect of the ingredients relevant for skin and hair care can be demonstrably potentiated. This is premium ginseng in its most effective form for our cosmetics. It is what makes GINZAI so unique in the skincare world. Many other wonderful ingredients ensure a natural active cosmetic that has totally inspired our clientele from the very beginning.
The black forest ginseng is the starting point for all four GINZAI lines, which are now available exclusively in our online store. This makes GINZAI the world's only cosmetic line for skin and hair care that uses the highly potent and exclusive black forest ginseng as the basis for all products.
