Is your shipping packaging sustainable?

YES, WE PACK SUSTAINABLY AND THUS REDUCE THE CO² emissions SIGNIFICANTLY! Our shipping boxes are made of recycled paper, as well as the filling material we use (if necessary) and comply with the FSC standard (Forest Stewardship Council ®). Our packing tape is also made of environmentally friendly paper with natural rubber glue. Furthermore we work with high pressure on our goal all orders, as far as possible, in the appropriate packaging to send. The maxim here is - packaging only as large as necessary and with exactly sufficient cushioning protection to ensure safe arrival of the goods. In this way we achieve a more optimal utilization of the transport vehicles and thus also significantly reduce CO² emissions.

Why don't you use glass instead of plastic?

Recently, we have been receiving more and more suggestions to switch from plastic to glass jars, for example. At first glance, this seems logical, but when we take a holistic view, none of our suppliers can yet give us a more positive eco-balance for glass jars. These are significantly more costly and less sustainable both in production (higher temperatures/more energy) and in subsequent recycling after use. Also, due to the increased weight during transport both by road and by ship or plane, the overall balance is actually even worse than for plastic containers. We have therefore decided to work with our suppliers to use a steadily increasing recycled content in our primary containers (jars, tubes). The recycling cycle after use is particularly important here: the primary containers should always go into the yellow bin/yellow bag, where they can be recycled as optimally as possible thanks to our participation in the "Grüner Punkt" dual system. Of course, we are still working continuously to improve our packaging. Our top priority here is always uncompromising hygiene and consumer safety.

Are your products VEGAN?

Our products are all VEGAN, only the Wake-Up Toner may contain traces of honey (propolis).

Are your products free of animal testing and PETA certified?

All GINZAI products are 100% animal-free and PETA certified. We are an active member of the PETA association and of course registered on the publicly accessible PETA list.
