Care rituals to go
Small rituals with a big impact for timeless beauty
The best anti-ageing strategy is based on a holistic approach. In addition to products tailored to your needs and a daily skincare routine, a diet rich in vital nutrients and a mindful approach to physical and mental resources also play an important role. We would like to introduce you to four rituals that you can easily integrate into your everyday life.
The daily walk - your path to a great complexion with a vibrant radiance
Whether at work or on the go with a smartphone, constantly staring at displays and monitors makes us look pretty old. According to recent studies, the artificial light from PCs, tablets and the like is one of the factors that accelerate wrinkles. Blue light triggers oxidative stress in the deeper layers of the skin and can lead to a "screen face" with typical signs of ageing such as wrinkles, sagging and hyperpigmentation. Our tip: simply switch off and fill up on oxygen in the great outdoors. Because oxygen is the elixir of life for cells. It reduces stress hormones and supports regeneration processes. Daily exercise in the fresh air gives us new energy, produces feelings of happiness and rewards us with a rejuvenated reflection. Forest therapy - immerse yourself in the silence of the forest with all your senses In Japan, forests are regarded as a true energy filling station for the mind and body. Shinrin-yoku, bathing in the forest, is part of a balanced lifestyle there and is prescribed by Japanese doctors to reduce stress.
Green smoothies - skin food and wake-up call
To overcome an afternoon slump, we often reach for coffee and cookies at work. In the long term, this can be problematic for our health and silhouette. Industrial sugar also promotes premature skin ageing. Better alternatives are water and green smoothies. The latter pamper the palate with an exciting variety of flavors and our cells with plenty of vitamins and antioxidants. A classic green smoothie consists of fruit (preferably frozen) and green plants, herbs or leafy vegetables. Because of the fructose, the proportion of fruit should be smaller than the proportion of vegetables. Wild herbs provide an additional nutritional boost. They contain more valuable substances than cultivated plants. Nettle leaves, for example, contain twice as much vitamin C as lemons. Daily consumption of this vital substance booster not only increases your well-being. After a few weeks, your complexion will also show its best side. The color of the smoothies stands for full life. The chlorophyll responsible for the lush green color is full of anti-aging active ingredients. In 2014, the Seoul National University College of Medicine published a study showing that chlorophyll can reduce facial wrinkles and improve elasticity. The highly antioxidant leafy green also protects our cells. Its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties ensure a clear complexion.Recipe for a mild and fruity smoothie

- 1 handful of parsley
- ½ small cucumber
- 1 slice of pineapple
- 1 peeled orange
- 100ml water
Place the chopped ingredients in a powerful blender and blend until the smoothie has a creamy consistency.
Facial yoga - natural face lifting for a radiant appearance
With increasing age, the face loses volume-giving subcutaneous fatty tissue and supporting collagen. Strengthening training of the facial muscles is intended to compensate for the loss of fatty tissue and counteract sagging. Facial yoga is a relatively new trend. This involves performing various exercises to actively combat ageing. Among other things, they are designed to minimize wrinkles and tighten the contours, whether on the beach or in the office. The exercises can be practiced easily anywhere. Facial yoga is a long-term project. Exercise moderately but regularly five days a week and look forward to your younger self. Plan 30 seconds for each of the following exercises. Press your tongue against the roof of your mouth Tightens the chin and neck and prevents a double chin.- Push your lower jaw forward and press the back of your tongue against the roof of your mouth.
- Lean your head back and smile.
- Hold the position while you alternately press your tongue against the roof of your mouth and relax again.
- Press your lips together
- Smoothes pleated wrinkles.
- Pull your lips over your teeth and press them together with gentle pressure.
- Hold the tension.
- Smile as broadly as you can.
- Hold the position.
5-minute meditations that get under your skin
The skin is considered a mirror of the soul. If we are in mental or emotional disharmony, this can be reflected visually and chronic stress accelerates the ageing process. The complexion then often appears gray, sallow and wrinkled. Regular meditation can counteract this. Just a few minutes a day can bring your body, mind and soul back into harmony and make your skin glow. Candle meditation in the home office Create an undisturbed atmosphere and make yourself comfortable in your favorite spot. Choose some calm background music and place a lit candle in front of you. Now consciously breathe in and out deeply several times and focus your gaze on the warm candlelight. After a few minutes, close your eyes. The candlelight will now appear before your inner eye. If the image fades, open your eyes and look into the flame again. After a few repetitions, you will feel much more relaxed and focused. Meditation also works in the to-go version. No matter whether you want more energy or to slow down. Numerous apps offer guided short meditations that turn even commuting on public transport into a wellness trip.
